CHOMP! Welcomes its first referrals

This month CHOMP welcomed the first young people onto the programme with an information session at Bridgwater Town Hall. Thank you to the team at Bridgwater Town Council for offering the space and hosting us.

CHOMP is a fully funded programme supporting young people to become self-employed and set up their own business. Funded by Sedgemoor District Council CHOMP aims to help those who are not fully engaged in education or employment tap into their full potential.

Patricia Marks, CEO, SBA CIC, said, “CHOMP is a fantastic opportunity for young people to turn their passion and interests into a business. It is wonderful to welcome the first young people to CHOMP and look forward to welcoming many more.”

The programme offers a personalised path based on an individual’s needs and includes a personal profile to support their personal development plan, business training and support from mentors and business advisors.
